Avtochast is a website for advertisements for buying and selling automotive parts. The operator identified below is responsible for processing personal data on the website. This policy explains what data we use and how you can exercise your rights.
Account and access
We process your name, email address, hashed password, company details if you provide them, and account settings. We keep the registration date, last login, account status and listing limit. These data are necessary to provide the requested service, manage your account and prevent abuse. We do not publish your login email address as part of a listing.
Technical data
When you access the website, the technical infrastructure may record your IP address, request time, visited URL, browser information and errors. We use necessary technical data to operate the service, diagnose problems and prevent abuse. Do not include personal data in page URLs when it is unnecessary.
Listings, photos and phone numbers
The title, description, photos, price, vehicle, category, location and the author's display name are available with the public listing. A phone number is shown after pressing a button only if the author has allowed its publication. The button does not make the number confidential. Do not upload other people's personal data or photos without a lawful basis. Public listings and their first photo may be indexed by search engines and used in shared-link previews.
Messages
We store the content, participants and timestamps of messages in conversations about a listing. They are not published for all visitors. Processing is necessary to provide this feature; authorized technical access may be required for support, security or a legal obligation. Do not send payment card details, passwords or unnecessary sensitive data.
Google and Facebook sign-in
When the relevant feature is enabled and you choose it, the provider supplies an identifier, name and email address according to your permissions. We use these to create or link an account and authenticate you. We do not retain an access token for later use, read your friends list or publish on your behalf. Google and Meta also process data under their own policies. Revoking access with them does not automatically delete your Avtochast account.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary session and security cookies maintain sign-in and security. The “Remember me” option keeps you signed in for subsequent visits. If the administrator has enabled Google Analytics, it loads only after your consent on the homepage and public listings for visitors who are not signed in. Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can refuse or withdraw consent through “Analytics cookie settings” on the homepage when you are not signed in. Refusal does not affect the core features. Firebase settings alone do not activate notification delivery.
Legal bases and recipients
We process necessary data to provide the service you request. For security, fraud prevention and defending claims, we rely on legitimate interests while taking your rights into account; where a legal requirement applies, we rely on a legal obligation. Optional analytics is based on consent. Recipients may include other conversation participants, visitors viewing public listings, authorized support personnel, hosting, network security and email providers, and competent authorities where there is a lawful basis. Google's and Meta's own terms also apply. Before publication, the operator must specify the providers used, any transfers outside the European Economic Area and the applicable safeguards.
Retention and removal
Data are retained as needed for active accounts, listings, conversations, security and applicable legal obligations. The operator must define the exact retention periods for technical logs, backups and inactive accounts before publishing the policy. Deleting a listing as a user marks it as “Sold” and hides it from search and categories; its direct link and content remain accessible. This does not delete personal data. To request removal of personal data, use the contact below. Copies in search engines and external platforms may be updated later.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing. You may withdraw consent for future processing. Send a request to the contact below; if needed, we will request proportionate identity verification. Do not send a password or personal identification number. You may lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), cpdp.bg. Changes to this policy are published here with an updated date.

Seller reviews and Google Maps
Avtochast reviews display the author's public name, rating, text and date. Withdrawn or moderated reviews are retained for abuse prevention. When a seller connects Google Maps, we request its public rating and reviews from Google. Google content is not stored in our database or cache. Author images load from Google and may disclose your IP address to that provider. See Google's Privacy Policy.
